Placing oki-ni product in a surreal and mythic landscape, Art Director Andrew Stellitano has created an idealised world of crystal blue water, towering grey mountains and swirling white clouds in tribute to the idyllic compositions of Chinese Shan Shui painting.
Trained as a Graphic Designer at Central Saint Martins, Andrew is a multidisciplinary Art Director who is equally at home working with installations, photography or film. To date, his clients have been represented a similarly broad spectrum, including everyone from Aston Martin to The V&A.
For this shoot, Andrew has enlisted the help of still life photographer Sam Hofman. Cultivating a clean, graphic shooting style, Sam has worked with a number of leading magazines including Wallpaper, Pop, Hunger and Another.
